Coins in the series
About the series
A collection of commemorative coins from The Royal Mint marking the 60th anniversary of the Star Trek franchise, issued together with Paramount. These are the first British coins devoted to Star Trek: two 50p coins appear in 2026. The first, with the Vulcan salute and the inscription Live Long & Prosper, went on sale on 3 September; the second, with four starships from different eras of the franchise, is announced for November. Each coin is issued in cupro-nickel (BU and BU Colour with colour printing), silver (Proof, colour printing, 5,000 pieces) and gold (Proof, 22 carat, 100 pieces) versions. The coins are sold individually and by subscription to the two-coin collection.
